The Open Road is Calling
“Afoot and light-hearted I take to the open road. Healthy, free, the world before me.”

📍Somewhere between Colorado and California 🚙
Greetings from the wilderness!
By the time you're reading this, I should be somewhere on the road between Colorado and California!
After a beautiful summer in the mountains, and a full season of gathering at the House of Loto, I'm trading my familiar forest trails for highways, desert landscapes, and a little adventure.
This year's solo road trip is taking me from Salida through western Colorado, across Utah and Nevada, and eventually into California's Bay Area (where I attended University). Along the way, I've planned a mix of free hotel stays thanks to my Marriott Bonvoy AMEX points, and nights camping beneath the stars, with stops near Grand Junction, South Fork Reservoir in Nevada, and the San Rafael Swell region of Utah.
While the destination is an Aguahara aquatic bodywork retreat, I'm looking forward to the journey just as much as the experience itself. Long stretches of silence, audio books and podcasts, wide-open landscapes, and the freedom to stop when something beautiful catches my eye. These are some of the things I love most about my mobile life as a digital nomad.
After the retreat, I'll spend a a couple of nights at Harbin Hot Springs (where WATSU originated) before turning back toward Colorado, with a few more adventures planned along the way.
Want to come along for the ride?
Thanks to my Starlink Mobile, I'll be sharing photos, landscapes, and little moments from the journey over on my travel Instagram account. I'd love for you to follow along!
Sending Love from somewhere along the open road!
Jennifer
