Janzu Aquatic Bodywork
Warm Water Therapy for Nervous System Regulation + Deep Relaxation
A private, one-on-one aquatic bodywork experience guided by a trained Janzu Mother.
You are held, floated, and gently moved through warm water—allowing the body to release tension and remember what safety feels like.
Janzu is a form of aquatic bodywork practiced in warm, ±body-temperature water. Using flotation support and slow, rhythmic movement, the practitioner guides your body into a state of deep rest—often more quickly than traditional land-based somatic modalities.
Many people may experience:
A noticeable downshift in stress and mental noise
A sense of being held and supported without effort
Release of chronic tension patterns and pain
Improved sleep and nervous system regulation
Emotional softening and release of stored emotions
Increased flexibility and mobility
Increased awareness of the physical body and senses
You don’t need to “do” anything. The water and your practitioner will do the work.
What Is Janzu?
Why Janzu Works
In the water, gravity loosens its grip. Your muscles don’t have to work so hard to hold you together. The body gets the message: you can stop bracing now.
Janzu can support:
Parasympathetic activation (rest + digest)
Downshifting mental chatter
Soothing hypervigilance and chronic holding patterns
Emotional release that can trigger natural catharsis
Felt-sense reconnection: body → breath → trust
Not a performance. Not a “push through.” More like… a full body exhale.
