Land Stewardship
Your Presence Restores the Land
Forest Church has always been about remembering our place within nature—not as visitors, but One with Creation. Now, that reciprocal relationship is becoming tangible.
The House of Loto is stewarding a reforestation project in the San Isabel National Forest, working to restore areas impacted by the pine beetle epidemic through the planting of new trees.
This is land stewardship.
Every Forest Church contribution.
Every gathering at the House of Loto.
Every moment of presence in the forest.
It all flows back into the land.
Why This Matters
The forests surrounding us are changing.
The pine beetle epidemic in the San Isabel National Forest has left sections of land in need of restoration. We are choosing to respond—not with urgency alone, but with devotion.
Tree by tree.
Season by season.
Together.
A Living Exchange
When you contribute to our Land Stewardship Fund or attend Forest Church at the House of Loto, you are directly funding:
The purchase of new trees for reforestation
Restoration of beetle-impacted forest areas
Ongoing land stewardship at the House of Loto
The continuation of accessible, donation-based gatherings in nature
This is not symbolic. This is real, living reciprocity.
You come to the forest to breathe, to listen, to reconnect. And in return—the forest is regenerated through your presence. This is the rhythm we are practicing: Receive. Restore. Repeat.
Why give?
A Sacred Offering, Rooted in the Forest
If you’ve ever left the forest feeling more grounded—you already understand why this matters. The question is: what do we give back?
The pine beetle epidemic is ravaging forests across this region. Without intervention (even in small ways), these areas won’t recover in our lifetime. So in the spirit of Tikkun Olam—we’re taking part in the repair of what has been broken.
Your contribution to the Land Stewardship Fund and paid attendance at Forest Church directly funds that work—turning your presence into restoration.
Through the Land Stewardship Fund, your giving directly supports the reforestation of this land—tree by tree. This is how we move from consumption → reciprocity.
Your contribution helps sustain this forest sanctuary. Every contribution makes it possible to:
Purchase and plant new trees.
Steward the *family land that has held five generations and now holds sacred space for seekers.
Provide materials and resources through Forest Church that create an immersive experience (sound bath instruments, candles, altar elements, meditations).
Contribution to the Land Stewardship Fund is not a transaction—it’s a way of planting yourself in this movement of rest, reverence, and renewal. Your generosity ensures that this sacred work continues to grow, season after season.
*We respectfully acknowledge the unceded and ancestral territories of the Ute and Cheyenne Nations and the traditional keepers of their land. We want to say thank you for allowing us to live, work, and play on your lands.
