Greetings from the wilderness!
I am still tingling from all of the growth and bravery I witnessed last week, while also processing my own experiences during the retreat. For four days in the shadow of the mountains, a circle of women gathered in a canvas tabernacle tent to remember who they are. What unfolded was more than a retreat—it was an awakening of Christ Consciousness.
We met around altars made of flowers, starting each day foraging and creating with what the land had to offer. In these quiet acts, beauty was born from sticks, stones, petals, and pinecones.
We shared meals that were more than nourishment—Bowls of color, texture, and flavor (garnished with edible flowers) became a form of communion.
The medicine ceremonies became holy ground. In the shelter of the tabernacle tent, through sound, breath, and the gentle holding of safe space, women stepped into mystery. Old stories fell away. Tears and laughter poured out. Hearts softened. The Spirit moved.
And perhaps the greatest miracle was not in the ceremonies, the Janzu, or the meals, but in the brave sharing. We practiced being seen. We spoke words long held in silence. We opened trembling hearts and found they were met with Love. Vulnerability became strength. Connection became healing.
As the fire burned low on our final morning, it was clear—what had been awakened could not be put back into the box of our comfort zones.
This is the work of Loto Wellness Collective—to create spaces where beauty, courage, and the Spirit meet, where women remember themselves and one another, in God's presence.
AWAKEN has ended, but the journey is alive. Each woman left carrying a flame. Together, we are still burning. I am so humbled and in awe of how God showed up.
