Mothers WEavings
WEaving Our WE
None of us carries all the Wisdom.
As practitioners of the healing arts, each of us comes with something—our skills, traditions, experiences, questions, gifts, and ways of knowing. Mothers WEavings are an intentional practice of bringing what we carry into relationship with what others carry.
We gather to know one another.
To practice together.
To learn and exchange.
To serve one another.
To share resources and opportunities.
To create what none of us could create alone.
Because our WE is woven through relationship.
WE BRING WHAT WE HAVE…
…AND RECEIVE WHAT OTHERS CARRY.
Mothers WEavings grew from a simple recognition: the people who gather through Loto hold an extraordinary diversity of Wisdom.
Aquatic bodywork. Sound. Movement. Food. Art. Ritual. Somatic practice. Plant wisdom. Contemplative practice. Hospitality. Community tending. And countless ways of knowing that don't fit neatly into a title.
Rather than practicing alongside one another in isolation, we choose relationship.
We trade sessions. Teach one another. Share meals and stories. Open our homes and communities. Make introductions. Travel to practice together. Collaborate. Ask for help. Offer what we have. Over time, individual threads begin to become a web.
RECIPROCITY AS PRACTICE
We learn to give. We learn to receive.
Reciprocity asks something deeper of us: to participate in the circulation of what we have.
Sometimes we are the teacher. Sometimes the student.
Sometimes we hold. Sometimes we are held.
Sometimes we open a door. Sometimes someone opens one for us.
We practice recognizing our own capacity, receiving without indebtedness, giving without extraction, and trusting that what moves through healthy relationship does not always return through the same person or in the same form.
This is how abundance becomes relational.
ACROSS PRACTICES + PLACES
The web keeps growing.
Mothers WEavings are not confined to one place. Professional relationships formed through Loto currently stretch across Colorado, Mexico, Costa Rica, the United States, and beyond—connecting people whose practices, cultures, landscapes, and traditions may be different, but whose desire to live and work in deeper relationship is shared.
Sometimes those relationships become collaborations. Sometimes they become practice communities, gatherings, journeys, or new friendships. Sometimes they simply become someone we can call.
Every relationship becomes another colorful thread.
WE CREATE TOGETHER
Relationship makes something new possible.
Co-creation is different from collaboration alone.
We don't gather simply to combine services or build experiences. We allow relationship itself to shape what emerges.
A conversation becomes a gathering.
A practice exchange becomes a journey.
An introduction becomes a collaboration.
A shared need becomes something we tend together.
What emerges belongs to the relationship that created it.
This is the WE in WEaving.
THE MOTHERS
At Loto, “Mother” is larger than gender, parenthood, profession, or title.
Mothering is a posture of tending—of creating the conditions in which something can be nourished, transformed, healed, remembered, or brought into being.
The Mothers are artists, practitioners, facilitators, wisdom-keepers, hosts, teachers, healers, creators, and community tenders. And none of us stands outside the practice.
We are learning from one another, tending one another, and being changed by the relationships we are building.
A WORD ABOUT COMMITMENT
Not Membership. Belonging.
The Collective and our Mothers WEavings are not a membership to manage or a productivity structure to keep up with. It is a living WE you step into—through participation, presence, and return.
Participation in our Mothers WEavings is by invitation only.
Some Mothers walk closely for a season.
Some remain for years.
